Alberta (Evans) Foggie
February 14, 1947 ~ August 9, 2017 (age 70) 70 Years OldPastor Alberta Evans Foggie was born February 14, 1947, to the late Claude Evans, Jr. and the late Pearl C. Evans, and went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
Alberta attended the schools of Laurens County and graduated from Sanders High School in 1965. She was employed by Laurens School District 55 but, was more well known as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, Pastor, friend and True Soulwinner for Christ.
In 2013 Pastor Foggie established Abundant Life Family Church. After being saved in 1975 she spent the next 42 years working for the Lord and the past 4 years Pastoring her own church. She was cherished and loved by her church family.
She was predeceased by a sister, Wilhelmina Pinson; a mother-in-law, Ella Foggie East; a father-in-law, Henry Foggie, Sr.,and a stepson, Micheal Foggie.
Surviving to cherish loving memories are her husband, Mr. Robert Foggie of Laurens, three beautiful daughters, Ms. Audrey D. Makins of Greenville, SC, Ms. Candra L. Foggie of Duncan, SC, and Ms. ShaRobbie N. Foggie of the home, a stepson, Terrance C. (Bessie) Foggie; two stepdaughters, Gloria F. Callhan and Rosalyn Foggie; grandchildren, Jamarviz R. Rice, Jakheam R. Rice, Vacenta R. Rice, Makenzie R. Hayes, Kollins D. Hayes, Terez S. Foggie, Xyavier T. Foggie, Terrance D. Croft, Tokeshia C. Rice, Shandlyn Foggie, Adrian Foggie, Afya Callahan, Faraji Callahan, and Kamyu Callahan; 13 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Juanita Gill, Sylvia Calwile, and Jacqueline Redd, all of Laurens, SC and Charlotte (Edward) Coleman of Clinton, SC; brothers, James Evans of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Charlie D. Evans of Manhattan, New York; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
