Mrs. Bessie Mae Gary, widow of James Gary, was born on September 26, 1942, in Laurens County, South Carolina, a daughter of the late James Moses and Daisey Metts Moses.
She attended the public schools of Laurens County and was a member of Zion Hill Holiness Church in Clinton, South Carolina.
After many years of employment, Bessie Mae retired from Whitten Center in Clinton, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents and her husband, by two daughters, Angela D. Williams and Elaine McBeth; seven brothers; and three sisters.
Mrs. Gary departed this life at her home on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the age of 77. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly,
She leaves to cherish her loving and fond memories, three daughters, Margaret Mosely, Elizabeth Brown, and Princess South; twelve grandchildren, Jasmine Merrill, David Mosely, Sir-Kid Mosely, Takeisha Pitts, Princess Williams, Latoyka Williams, Lekeisha Williams, Tameika Williams, Banisha Williams, Chelisa Suber, Ricky Williams, and Sir-Prince; thirteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Sammie (Regina) Moses and Lewis Moses; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
