Brush R Young

Mr. Brush Rodriquez "BYT" Young, 42, of 746 S Main Street Woodruff, SC entered eternal rest on Monday, October 21, 2019. He was born to Karen Young Workman of the home and Ray Charles (Sylvia) Pyles.

He joined Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Cross Hill, SC at an early age.  He graduated from Clinton High School in 1955.  He went on to graduate from ITT Tech with an associate degree in Electrical Engineering.  He was employed at Cryovac Sealed Air for 12 years. He was known for his affectionate smile and his sense of humor.  He loved the Oakland Raiders.  He loved to hang out with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather Ebby Mims.

In addition to his parents he is survived by, one son Tymerious Shelton of the home.  Two daughters, N"dya Shelton and Akera Powers of Clinton.  Five sisters:  Shemese (DJ) Vines of Greenville, Kayla Richey, Lia'Tia Vance both of Clinton; Latoya McGowan of Cross Hill; and Ligera Young of Greenville, SC.  Six brothers:  Sean Mims of the home;  Quinton Richey, Xavier Richey, Shawn (Tamisha) Calhoun all of Clinton; Neal (Amber) Scurry and Jermele (Tamia) Suber of Laurens, SC.  Grandparents ;  Martha Young and Thelma Young both of Clinton.  Great Aunts, Johnnie V. McGowan, Lorraine McGowan, Julia Henley, Ida Pierce, Doris Walker.  Great Uncles:  Walter (Linda) McGowan, JC (Anna) Pyles, Glenn (Bertha) Pyles, Otis (Lula Mae) Pyles, Hilary Pyles, Calvin Pyles, Aunts: Andretha (Michael) Richey, Annette (Michael) Johnson, Lana Martin, Judy Pyles, Lenita Irby, Lettenia (Ted) Taylor, Ernestine (Melvin) Young.  Uncles; Wendell Young, Rufus Mims, Harold (Angela) Mims, Antonio Young, Alan (Jennifer) Young, James (Kathy) Young, Lewis Mims. One grandchild; Londyn James.  A special friend, Lakeina Shelton.  One Godson; Kyle Calhoun.  Special friends; Chris Gregory, Randall Suber, and Keith Moore.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
