Calvin De Angelo Dowdy of 103 Copeland Street in Clinton, South Carolina was born on July 6, 1992, in Greenwood, South Carolina to Calvin L. Dowdy and Vivian D. Vance.

Mr. Dowdy was a hard worker and a loving father to Kylie Dowdy and boyfriend to Banita Martin. He was always there when his family and friends needed him.

He was preceded in death by both his grandfathers, Walter Vance and Calvin Dowdy, and  a grandmother, Acecelia Owens.

On Sunday, February 18, 2018, Calvin De Angelo Dowdy departed this earthly walk of life at the age of 25.

He will be cherished by his one daughter; Kylie Dowdy, his parents, Calvin L. and Vivian D. Dowdy, grandmother, Macie Vance; one sister, Shaquitta Dowdy; one brother, Harrison S. Vance; four aunts, Rachel Dowdy Gwen (Robert) Robinson, Veronica Dowdy, and Yakeisha Vance; four uncles; Johnny B. Vance, Harrison (Albertina) Vance, James A. Vance, and Antonio (Clepatria) Dowdy; girlfriend, Banita Martin; two special cousins raised in the home, Johnny B. Vance, Jr. and Shannon Vance; five special friends and cousins, Traheim Gallman, Claude Jackson, Zay Dowdy, Main Dowdy, and Ki Reid; a special friend and second mother, Angie Williams; and a host of other family and friends.
