Clara G Kinard

Mrs. Clara Goodman Kinard was born in Newberry County, South Carolina on May 1, 1937 to the late Horace Williams, Sr., and Millie Williams. 

She attended the public schools of Newberry County, South Carolina.  At an early age, she joined Hebron Baptist Church in Clinton, South Carolina.

Clara was formerly employed at Thornwell Charter School and later at Whitten Center, both located in Clinton, South Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Postele Kinard; one brother, Horace Williams, Jr.; and one sister, Fannie Hill. 

On Monday, November 11, 2019, Mrs.  Clara Goodman Kinard entered into Eternal Rest at Laurens County Memorial Hospital.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, one daughter, Sara Ann (Joseph) Jones; one son; Willie Casper (Gail) Williams; four grandchildren, one of which was reared in the home, Jeffrey Mathis; Five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister; Annie Little;  a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.
