Clorisa Byrd Obituary

Ms. Clorisa Victoria Byrd, 52, of 209 Bell Street Circle in Clinton, South Carolina, departed this life on Friday, October 19, 2018 at her home. She was born in Laurens County on August 29, 1966 to the late Catherine O. Byrd and David R. Moore of Clinton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willie and Daisy Byrd of Clinton and Thomas Moore, Sr.

She leaves to cherish fond memories, her fiancé, Mr. Michael Thompson of the home, three daughters, MacNasja (Demyane) Byrd, Kendra (Taurus) Peterson of Clinton, SC, and Dawn Boyd of Greenwood, SC; four sons, Kalvis ( Lativia) Byrd of Greenwood, SC, Michael Scurry of Mountville, SC, Derrick Vance of Clinton,, SC, and Cornelius (Amber) Scurry of Utah; two sisters, Nanette (Flora) Moore and Florida (Charles) Moore both of Clinton, SC; sixteen grandchildren, Amarie, Saniya, JJ, Samarja,, Nashunti, Kemiya, Ketauria, BJ, Kimora, Paris, Gabby, Skylar, Lalah, Temiyah, Temeyron, and Nana; grandmother, Mrs. Virginia Moore of Clinton, SC; a very special aunt, Mrs. Deborah Copeland of Clinton, SC; a very special friend, April Scarborough, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
