Elizabeth Toland

Mrs. Elizabeth K. Toland 77, of Highway 76 East, Clinton, South Carolina was born on January 17, 1942. She is a daughter of the late Richard Rice and Alma Kinard and the widow of the late Laffyette Toland.

She attended the public schools of Laurens County, Laurens , South Carolina and was a 1960 graduate of Bell Street High School in Clinton, South Carolina.  She was also a member of McCoy Jenkins Fuller VFW Post No. 59932 Auxillary

She was a former faithful employee of Torrington Company in Clinton, South Carolina.  She was also a foster grandparent at Joanna Woodson Elementary School in Joanna, South Carolina until her health declined.

On Monday, April 22, 2019, Mrs. Toland entered Eternal Rest at Laurens County Hospice in Clinton, South Carolina.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by Joe N. Taylor.

Mrs. Toland leaves to share her loving memories, one son, Stanley Taylor of Clinton, SC; two grandsons, Sedrick Taylor and Omar Taylor both of Clinton, SC; two great grandchildren, Didrika Adkins of Clinton, SC., and Darius Adkins of Salisbury, NC; one sister, Maggie Reed; one brother, Willie Reed of Clinton, SC; a special niece who she treated as a daughter, Arenita Kinard, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and  friends.
