Gloria Wells

Suddenly and peacefully on January 11, 2020 God removed the smiling face of Gloria Wells to meet her love ones gone before. The family will miss her along with staff and friends of NHC of Laurens where she was affectionally known as "GLO". Gloria Wells was born on June13, 1942 and was the daughter of John Wells and Hattie Mary (Mae) McCanty Wells, both of Brooklyn, New York, her parents preceded her in death along with her son Reginald Allen Wells of Laurens, SC. Gloria was reared in the home of her grandmother, Sallie Dendy McCanty, Laurens, SC., who also preceded her in death along with four uncles and one aunt. She attended schools of Laurens, SC. and graduated from Sanders High School. She returned to New York, where she attended a Business College and secured a job with the Federal Government as a clerical worker. She leaves to cherish her memory; her cousin and caregiver, Sallie McCanty Sargent of Laurens, and a host of cousins.
