Mrs. Lena Anderson Fields, 72, of Laurens, South Carolina, was born on March 12, 1947 to Georgia Williams Anderson and the late Otis Anderson, Sr.
Lena attended public schools in Putnam County, Georgia and was a 1966 graduate of Bulter Baker High School in Eatonton, Georgia.
In the late 1970's, after many years of employment at Kayer in Macon, Georgia. Mrs. Fields moved to Laurens, South Carolina where she became a homemaker.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Fields; her brother, Otis Anderson, Jr.; and a son-in-law, Bobby Carter.
On Monday, April 15, 2019, Mrs. Fields gained her heavenly wings as she entered Eternal Rest at the Heartland Health Care Center in Greenville, South Carolina
In addition to her mother, she leaves to cherish her fond memories two sons, Anthony (Cynthia) Anderson and Carlton Fields; two daughters, Rhonda (Floyd) Fields and Markisha Fields Carter; one sister, Shirley Hall of Macon, GA; eight grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
