Marvin Rice

Mr. Marvin Rice, a son of the late Alexander Yeargin and the late Francis Earlene Rice, was born on December 3, 1953 in Laurens, South Carolina.  He entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, September 22, 2017.

Marvin graduated from Parker High School in Greenville, South Carolina and attended Rocky River AME Church in Antreville, South Carolina. Everyone who knew him also knew he was a "huge" Dallas Cowboy Fan.

Mr. Rice spent most of his working years in the textile industry until he retired from Faurecia, now known as Yanfen Automotive Interiors in Fountain Inn, South Carolina.

IN addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Bennie Lee Rice; five aunts, Henrietta Rice, Jeanette Rice, Eliza Brewster, Raye Young, Eloree Cheeks; and a close cousin, Hugh Lee Rice.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, three brothers, Thomas Earl Rice and Calvin Rice, both of Laurens, SC., Joh Earl (Matilda) Rice of Clinton, SC., and Geraldine Williams of Greenville, SC.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
