Mildred Elizabeth Matthews

Mildred Elizabeth Matthew affectionately known as "NinNin", 96, of Simpsonville, SC., entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Annabelle Tillman.

She was a member of Shiloh A.M.E. Church in Prosperity, SC., and President of the VFW (#574).

Mildred was predeceased by her parents, husband, Arthur Matthews, two daughters; Barbara Ann Matthews and Myrtle Dunn, and a sister, Hazel White.

Those cherishing lasting memories; Sister, Shirley Lampkin; Grandchildren; Lee Henderson, Jr., of Whitmire, SC., Mary Elizabeth (Alfred) Gamble of Simpsonville, SC., Shirley Ann (Keith) Brown of Prosperity, SC., Howard Lawrence Henderson of North Carolina, and Shykir (Kenneth) Henderson of Whitmire, SC., A great-grandson and care taker, Willie R. Green, III, of the home and a host of Great-great and Great-great-great grandchildren.
