Otis Lee Simpson

Mr. Otis Lee Simpson of 3074 Jefferson Davis Road, Clinton, South Carolina was born on November 25, 2941 to Cora Lee Johnson and the late Otis Simpson, Sr.

He attended the public schools of Clinton, South Carolina and was a graduate of Bell Street High School.

Otis was a member of New Bethel AME Church in Clinton, South Carolina.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Otis Simpson, Sr.

On Wednesday, April 3, 2019, Mr. Otis Lee Simpson entered into Eternal Rest at the Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.

Mr. Simpson leaves to cherish fond memories in addition to his mother, a fiancé, Ms. Annie Ruth Pressley; two daughters, Gloria Ann Simpson and Shirley (Curtis) Watson both of Clinton, SC; three "special children" that he considered his own, Barbara Pressley and Keisha Pressley both of Gray court, SC, and Thomas Pressley of Gray Court, SC; two brothers, Jessie Wash Simpson and James Edward Simpson both of Clinton, SC; one sister, Mary Simpson of Orangeburg, SC; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five aunts, Annie Mae Jones of Washington, DC; Annie Young and Julia Ruth Copeland of Clinton, SC, Lillie Bell Trebathan and Thelma Ingram of Youngstown, OH; a best friend, Lorenza Darby of Clinton, SC, and a  host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
