Ralph Henderson, 72, peacefully departed this life on May 31, 2018 at The Hospice of Laurens County in Clinton, South Carolina. He was born in Newberry, South Carolina to the late Lou Angeline Henderson and the late Eugene Marson on July 17, 1945.
Ralph was a 1965 graduate of Gallman High School in Newberry, South Carolina. He retired from Greenwood Mills and spent his part-time doing his favorite hobby, fixing and painting automobiles.
Mr. Henderson was baptized at an early age at Belmont Baptist Church in Silverstreet, South Carolina. He later moved his membership to Flint hill Baptist under the leadership of Reverend James Farr.
Ralph was the last surviving sibling of two brothers. He was married to the late Evelyn Suber Henderson for forty-four years. Ralph was raised by his grandmother, Lizzie Henderson after the death of his mother during his youth.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Ralph was preceded in death by his two brothers : Raymond and McArthur Henderson.
He leaves to cherish fond memories a son, Tyrone Henderson of the home; three stepsons, Raymond (Frances) Suber of Laurens, SC, Ralph (Bertha) Suber of Joanna, SC, and Vada (Frances) Suber of Newberry, SC; one stepdaughter, Felisa Suber of Joanna, SC; a granddaughter reared in the home, Katrina Suber; Two great-grandchildren reared in the home, Kadasia and Kreshana Suber; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Wilhelmina (John) Williams; one goddaughter, Ophilia Gary and two godsons, Montell Smith and Walter Gary, Jr., and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
