Alfred Eugene Moore

Mr. Alfred Eugene Moore was born in Clinton, South Carolina on December 20, 1954, to the late Walter Moore Sr., and Maggie McCoy Moore.

He was educated in the Laurens County School District where he attended Clinton, South Carolina.

Alfred was a member of New Bethel African Methodist Church in Clinton, South Carolina.

He was formerly employed at Lydia Mills in Clinton, South Carolina as well as Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Laurens, South Carolina as an unloader.

"Shot Back", as he was lovingly called by his family and friends was an avid softball player.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Ann Young.

On Thursday, February 19, 2026, Mr. Moore entered eternal rest a Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital in Clinton, South Carolina at the age of seventy-one. 

He leaves his cherish his memories to his brothers, Bryant (Donna) Moore and Walter Plez Moore Jr; his sister, Gaynelle (Joe) Floyd; a devoted niece, Tijuana (Kendrick) Wormley; his nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
