Alonzo Collins Sr.

Mr. Alonzo Collins, Sr.  was born on February 5, 1937, in Monks Corner, South Carolina, to the late Ethel Hamilton and Leroy Collins.

He was of Baptist faith and spent a lifetime in the Construction Industry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Mae Collins; two sons: Ronnie Collins and Alonzo Collins, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Deonica Collins.

 On Friday, April 1, 2022, the Lord saw he was getting tired and gave Mr. Alonzo Collins, Sr. a sweet rest at the age of eighty-five.

He leaves to cherish his wonderful and fond loving memories a devoted daughter-in-law, Shelldria Collins of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren: Alonzo (Lenora) Collins, Kenny (Ja'Zwayla) Collins, Latasha Collins, and Antonio Collins all of Greenville, SC; three great-grandchildren: Quinshunte Collins, Sincere Collins, and Jay Turner; former wife, Nancy Collins of Greenville, SC; one sister, Julia Rambert of Virginia; one sister-in-law, Hattie Philson of Laurens, SC; one brother-in-law, Willie Earl Sanders of Greenville, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
