Alphonso Cromer was born in Clinton, South Carolina on February 21, 1958; he entered into eternal rest on February 25, 2018 at his home.
He was the son of the late James N. Cromer and the late Ella M. Cromer.
He attended Laurens County public schools and served in the United States Army.
Alphonso is survived by his wife, Carolyn Childress Cromer of Laurens, SC; one daughter, Queena Cromer, Simpsonville, SC; one son, Lakeish Burton, Laurens, SC; one stepdaughter, Kathy (Mark) Guinn, Laurens, SC; two grandchildren; Kaliyah Ruff and Kylan Goodine, Simpsonville, SC; one step-granddaughter, Mackenzie Guinn, Laurens, SC.
He is also survived by his siblings, Barbara Gary of Enoree, SC; James W. Cromer, Laurens, SC; Debra Ann (Eugene) Jackson, Laurens, SC; Kennard Cromer, Laurens, SC; and a special brother, Lorenzo "LO" Darby, Clinton, SC.
Also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; extended family and friends.
