Alvin Tomell Coleman

Mr. Alvin Tomell Coleman was born on September 17, 1987, in Laurens County, South Carolina to Patricia Simpson and the late Alvin ‘Toot’ Coleman.  

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Willie Coleman, Jr. and Marian Coleman.

Alvin entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the age of thirty-seven. 

He leaves his cherished memories to his son, Shawn Coleman Jones; his daughter, Harmoni’ Elmore; his mother, Patricia (James) Simpson; four brothers:  Marcal (Brittany) Lagroon, Zachary Coleman, Kambre Tobias-Kari Coleman, and  Travis Ligon; a sister, Katina (John) Cinningham; maternal grandmother, Dorohy Turner; maternal grandfather, Ruben Grant; six special cousins: Rodney Grant "Scooter", Tasasia (Jeremy) Copeland, Marnez (Josh) Evans, Brikevious Witherspoon, Kenya Grant, and Ericka (Dontavious) Glenn; a special nephew, Kadon Crawford: three aunts: Sara Grant, Sharon Dewalt (Anthony) Hunter, and Mary Ann Smith; one uncle, Rodney (Linda) Grant; special godfather, Larry Hall; and a host of other relatives and friends.
