Angela (Grant) Raynor

Angela "Angel" Grant, 60, of Cross Hill, South Carolina was born September 7, 1961 and received her Eternal wings on October 27, 2021.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories her loving parents:  Lonzo Grant of Cross Hill, SC and Berry Jo Fuller Grant of Laurens, SC; her loving son, Akeem Elijah Raynor of the home; a loving stepson, Rodney Raynor of Tennessee; three brothers: Lonzo Grant, Jr. her neighbor and faithful caregiver of Cross Hill, SC, Randy (Stephanie) Grant of Laurens, SC and Ricky Grant of Cross Hill, SC ; four sisters:  Willie Jo Rucker of Lancaster, TX, Cathy (Anthony) Mims of Laurens, SC, Melissa R. Bennett, a neighbor and faithful caregiver of Cross Hill, SC, and Pamela (Russell) Grant of Mountville, SC; three nieces; nine nephews;  four great nieces; four great nephews; four aunts; five uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Two nephews who she adored and helped raise:  Marcus M. Grant of Laurens, SC and Mario F. Peterson, Jr.  Of Atlanta, GA; a goddaughter, Leeangel (Tony)Williams of Fountain Inn, SC and a god sister, Virginia Dillard of Clinton, SC.

She had five lifelong friends that she considered as sisters: Myra Abanthey, Dorothey Lee Grant, Clematine Jones, Dell Cunningham, and Beverly (Pop) Jones; two dedicated cousins: Clay Fuller and Brenda Bartee who was also one of her loving and devoted caregivers.

Angela was a mother figure to all of her siblings, nieces, and nephews whom she loved dearly.  She was also a faithful member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Cross Hill, South Carolina until her health declined.

Angel was always there to help her family and always had a funny way to make them smile.  Although she is resting with our Lord, her presence and memories will always live on in our hearts.
