Mrs. Anne Elizabeth Washington was born January 11, 1946, in Clinton, South Carolina to the late William Lindsay Booker and Corinne Leake DeBorous.
She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Clinton, South Carolina where she served with the Hebron Sunshine Club.
Anne was formerly employed as an administrator's Assistant at the Laurens County Department of Disability and Special Needs and also as a youth counselor in Greenville County, South Carolina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Washington formerly of Washington, DC; her daughter, Tanya Renee Washington; and one brother, William Earl Calhoun.
Mrs. Anne Elizabeth Washington entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 03, 2024 at her home in Clinton, South Carolina at the age of seventy-eight.
She leaves her cherished memories to her only son, Denunzio (Ericka) Washington Sr. of Raleigh, NC; her brother, William Lindsay Booker; three sisters, Rosa Booker of Clinton, SC, Sarah (Paul) Booker Fuller of Baltimore, MD, Sharon (RD) Booker Philson from Clinton, SC, five grandchildren: Denunzio Washington II of Raleigh, NC, Dwight (Shellice) Taylor of Dayton, OH, Darnell (E’lesha) Taylor of Dayton, OH, Paris (Ashley) Taylor of Cleveland, OH, Kristine Taylor of Columbus, OH; five great grandchildren; her aunt, Rachael Leake Stewart of Washington, DC, a special cousin, Ivy Barksdale; a cousin reared in the home, Kenneth (Wendy) of Forestville, MD, a host of other relatives and friends.
