Anthony "Salt" Sartor, was born in Union, S.C. on July 1, 1969. He was a son of L.V. Sartor and Elizabeth Brooks Sartor. He attended St. Matthews A.M.E. Zion Church during his early years. Anthony graduated from Union High School in 1987. He attended the University of South Carolina Upstate where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Anthony also attended Webster University where he earned his Masters in Counseling.
Anthony spent his career providing a wide range of services for children and families through community based programs such as family counseling, parenting education, and resource assistance. He was dedicated to improving their overall health and well-being and had a on-going determination to help them succeed in life.
Anthony had many interest and hobbies, but he loved basketball and was very passionate about music. Anthony was a former singer-songwriter and produced an array of music servicing artist across many genres and also inked deals which led to his music being used in television commercials.
While our hearts mourn and ache the loss of Anthony, we are forever grateful for the love he shared and the memories he left behind for us to hold near and dear to.
Those who remain to cherish memories in addition to his mother, Elizabeth Sartor, are two brothers, Leonard Sartor and Orlando Sartor of Whitmire, two sisters, Gwendolyn Sartor of Whitmire and Tamela Sartor McClurkin (Charles) of Spartanburg. Anthony had a host of nieces and nephews and loving relatives and friends.
