Beatrice Gary Dillard

Ms. Beatrice Gary Dillard was born September 16, 1937, in Laurens County, South Carolina to the late James Douglas Gary Sr. and Sarah Bell Rice Gary.

She attended the public schools of Laurens County, South Carolina.  She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church in Clinton, South Carolina.

Beatrice was formerly employed in Food Service at Martha Dendy School in Clinton, South Carolina and later at Whitten Center also in Clinton, South Carolina until her retirement.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Dub" Dillard; one daughter, Gaynelle Dillard; a granddaughter, Katrina Y. Mobley; one sister, Sarah Lucile Davis; and three brothers:  Mardell Gary, James D. Gary, Jr., and Leroy Gary.

On Thursday, April 21, 2022, Mrs.  Beatrice Gary Dillard departed this life at her home in Laurens County, South Carolina and entered Eternal Rest at the age of eighty-four.

Her loving memories will be cherished by one daughter, Patricia Gary of Clinton, SC; two sons:  Ulysses Gary of the home and Clarence Dillard of Clinton, SC; four grandchildren:  Mario (Jessica) Dillard of Elgin, SC, Cortez Gary of Joanna, SC, Alexis Gary and Rico Dillard both of Clinton, SC; an extended grandson, Brandon Gadsden of Clinton, SC; ten grandchildren:  Nyja Mobley, Shamya Booker, Cortavious Gary, Michael N. Smith, ZaMarion Johnson, Chyeria Johnson, Tyrell Dillard, and JaNoah Gary all of Clinton, SC, Mason J. Dillard of Elgin, SC, and Juawan Ramsey of Macon, GA; one great-great grandchild, Kainan S. Booker;  two sisters-in-law; Josephine Gary and Ygeania Gary both of Clinton, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
