Carolyn L Blakely

Mrs. Carolyn Levonne Blakely was born on August 20, 1952, in Laurens County, South Carolina to the late Elizabeth Briggs Jones.

She attended the public schools of Laurens County, South Carolina and was a graduate of Sanders High School in Laurens.  She was a member of New Grove Baptist Church in Laurens, South Carolina.

After years of employment, "Bankey," as she was lovingly called, retired from Walmart Distribution Center in Laurens, South Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee "Billy" Blakely.

On Saturday, November 5, 2022, Mrs. Carolyn L. Blakely entered Eternal Rest at her home in Laurens, South Carolina at the age of seventy.

She leaves to cherish her fond loving memories seven nieces:  Keisha Jones, Rita Jones, Lonetta Jones, Jackie Wilson, Loretta (Ardest) Walker, Joann (Floyd) Nelson, and Leann K. Wiggins; six nephews:  Chris Jones, William Jones, Freddie Jones, Shea Jones, James Robert (Doneither) Harden, and Johnathan Watts: two brothers-in-law:  Marion L. (Delores) Blakely, Jr. of Laurens, SC and Maurice (Angela) Blakely of Bowie, MD; one sister-in-law, Annie Mae Blakely Jordan of Washington, DC; and a host of other relatives, and friends.
