Cathy Ann Mims

On January 26, 2025, our beloved Cathy Ann Mims entered into God's eternal rest and received her crown. Cathy was a loving daughter, mother, wife, and auntie.

She's preceded in death by her sister Ms. Angela Grant Raynor; her father-in-law, Mr. Jimmy Mims; and her brother-in-law, Mr. Sammy Lee Mims.

Cathy leaves cherishable memories to her parents; Mr. Lonzo Grant, Sr of Cross Hill, SC and Ms. Betty Jo Grant of Laurens, SC; her mother-in-law, Ms. Rachel Mims of Laurens, SC; her loving and devoted husband, Mr. Anthony Bernard Mims of Laurens, SC: a loving son. "her Pumpkin", Mr. Marcus (Katie) Grant of Clinton, SC; three sisters: Ms. Willie Jo Rucker of Texas, Ms. Melissa (Willie) Bennett of Cross Hill, SC, and Mrs. Pamela (Russell) Grant of Mountville, SC; three brothers: Mr. Lonzo Grant, Jr of Cross Hill, SC, Mr. Ricky Grant of Cross Hill, SC, and Mr. Randy (Stephanie) Grant of Laurens, SC; four sister-in-laws: Ms. Bertha (Bori) Mims of Clinton, SC, Mrs. Josette (Charles) Dillard of Laurens, SC, Ms. Wanda Faye (Kelt) Mims of Laurens, SC, and Mrs. Betty (Willie) Brown of Gray Court, SC; two brothers-in-law: Mr. Jimmy Lee Boyd of Florida and Mr. John (Lisa) Mims of Laurens, SC; four loves of her life- her grandchildren: Martravion Grant of New Jersey, MarKavion Grant, Serenity Grant, and La'Terrance Young all of Clinton, SC: twenty-two nieces and nephews; four great Nieces and nephews.

Her sister, Mrs. Melissa Bennett was her devoted caregiver. Several people that held a piece of her heart were a nephew reared in the home, Mr. Mario Peterson of California; Ms. Virginia Dillard, whom was like a sister of Clinton, SC; Ms. Dorothy Lee Grant a loving sister of Cross Hill, SC: and Mrs. Hattie Mae Cunningham a special cousin of Cross Hill, SC.

We love you, Cathy, beyond measure. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we will rejoice knowing God has given you perfect peace. You will live in our hearts for eternity.
