Mrs. Debra Johnson Cook was born in Laurens County, South Carolina on May 12, 1965, to Shirley McDonald and the late Albert Lee Johnson.
She attended the public schools of Clinton, South Carolina.
At an early, Debra joined New Hope African Methodist Episcopal Church in Mountville, South Carolina.
She was employed for many years as a housekeeper in Laurens County and the surrounding areas.
Debra had a great love for her family, and she loved attending Bible Study at Life Living it Free in Laurens, South Carolina.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Johnson.
On Wednesday, December 13, 2023, Mrs. Debra Johnson Cook departed this life and entered Eternal Rest at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital in Grenville, South Carolina at the age of fifty-eight.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, in addition to her mother, her husband, Timothy Cook Sr.; three step-sons: Timothy (Tyesha) Cook, Jr., Quinton (Angela) Young, and Antonio Gray; two step-daughters: Synetha (Rodney) Mars and Alena (Timothy) Doctor; two brothers: Brenda Talley, Alma Johnson, Willie Mena Hernandez, and Shirley Ann Johnson; two sisters-in-law: Sandra Young and Teresa McGrath; three brothers-in-law: Herbert Cook, Robert Cook Jr., and James Cook; nine step-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
