Mrs. Donzell Cannon Williams was born on May 1, 1935, in Newberry County, South Carolina to the late Lewis Cannon, Sr. and Josephine Denson Cannon Calhoun.
She attended the public schools of Newberry County, South Carolina.
At an early age, Donzell joined Flint Hill Baptist Church in Clinton, South Carolina and became a faithful lifetime member.
After twenty-six years of employment and loyal service, she retired from Whitten Center in Clinton. South Carolina.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Williams; her long-time companion, James Wendell Turner; and three brothers: Lewis Cannon, James Lenard Cannon, and Edward G. Cannon; and a small circle of friends.
On Saturday, May 31, 2025, Mrs. Donzell Cannon Williams was received into eternity at her home in Clinton, South Carolina at the age of ninety.
Surviving to honor her memory are three daughters: Nancy Williams Foggie, Patricia Ann Williams, and Guynell Williams; five grandsons - especially her beloved oldest grandson, Jonathan K. Carter; one granddaughter; great grandchildren; one sister, Ida Mae Price; sister-in-law, Mamie (Henry) Price, She was also blessed with the loving kindness of a host of nieces, nephews, a beloved neighbor, Mary Lou Price; and a host of others relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
