Mr. Edward Norman Jr. was born June 12, 1955, in Greenwood, South Carolina to Helen Ruth Norman and the late Edward Norman Sr.
Edward was educated in the public schools of Greenwood County, South Carolina, and was a proud graduate of the Greenwood High School Class of 1973. He later joined the United States Air Force where he was honorably discharged as a Veteran with elven years of service.
Edward was formerly employed for many years at Lloyd Roofing Company and then at Mr. D's Restaurant as a professional Chef. He was also employed by AME Tuck Farms as an Agricultural Farm Assistant.
Although he loved spending time with his family; he was an avid professional fisherman and hunter, and he loved cooking and gardening.
On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, Mr. Edward Norman Jr. departed this life at Wellstar MCG in Agusta, Georgia and entered into eternal rest at the age of seventy.
He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters: Kendra (Leonard) Miles, Sonya (Ronny) Hunt, and Sheri (Rodney Bottemiller) Norman; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three brothers, Reverend Dr. Roy L. (Elizabeth) Norman, Reverend Michael B. "Bruce" (Janice) Norman and Reverend Douglas C. (Joyce) Norman; one sister LaShonda D. Norman; a beloved cousin, Rex White; and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
