Obituary
Mr. Eugene Hampton was born September 11, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to Violet Hampton Carlisle and the late Sherman Lagroom.
He attended the public schools of Wayne County, Michigan and was a graduate of Murray Wright High School in Detroit, Michigan. Eugene was employed for many years with Ford Motor Company also located in Detroit, Michigan.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Rita Carlisle and one brother, Ocie Carlisle.
On Friday, September 16, 2022, Mr. Hampton entered into Eternal Rest at the Hospice of Laurens County in Clinton, South Carolina at the age of sixty-nine.
Mr. Eugene Hampton in sound body and mind has left this world leaving his memory to be cherished by his mother, Violet Hampton Carlisle of the home; one son, Eugene Moss; two daughters: Andrea Solomon and Audrea Solomon; eight grandchildren; three sisters: Tina Carlisle, Theresa Hampton, and Monique Carlisle; one uncle, Mickey Jenkins; one aunt, Sheila "Red" Garrr; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
