Mr. Felix Alexander McMorris was born to the late Charlie Adams, Sr. and Annie Mae Darby McMorris on April 11, 1974, in Laurens County, South Carolina.
He attended the public schools of Laurens County and was a graduate of the Clinton High School Class of 1993 in Clinton, South Carolina.
He was a member of Bethlehem Grove Baptist Church in Clinton, South Carolina.
Felix, affectionately known as Fe, had a love for teaching his children how to cook, grill out, and how to fish. He had a special love for his family, especially his children and grandchildren, who meant the world to him. And lastly, but definitely not least, he loved the Carolina Panthers!
Felix worked for Norbord in Joanna, South Carolina for over twenty years and Allupress in Laurens, South Carolina, as a Team Leader. Before passing, he was employed with Wal-Mart in Newberry, South Carolina as a stocker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Haskell McMorris and Charlie Adams, Jr.
Mr. McMorris entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Newberry Memorial Hospital in Newberry, SC, at the age of forty-nine.
He leaves to cherish his memories his two daughters: Ciarra McMorris and Nydeisha McMorris; two grandchildren reared in the home: Samaria Davidson and Corrien Gilliam-Rice; his fiancé, Samantha Owens; four brothers: Tyrone McMorris, Marcus (Belinda) McMorris, Alphonso McMorris, and Kendrick McMorris; five sisters: Shirley Adams, Melissa Gary, Julia Scott, Burena M. (Sherman) Fowler, and Tangil (Gustava) Young; the Darby Family; a special nephew, Antonio (April) Darby; his three close friends: William Jones, O’Neal Bartee and Tobey Jacobs; his extended family, the Robinsons; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
