Gerline Wilson

Ms. Gerline Wilson was born May 4, 1952, in Laurens County, South Carolina to the late Eddie Lee Wilson and Odessa Harris Wilson.

She attended the public schools of Laurens County, South Carolina where she was a graduate of Sanders High School.

At an early age , Gerline joined the Poplar Springs African Methodist Episcopal Church in Laurens, South Carolina.

On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, Ms. Gerline Wilson laid down her burdens at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital in Clinton, South Carolina and went home to be with the Lord at the age of seventy - three.

Surviving to honor her memory are two sons: Tim (Shicole) Wilson and Sterling Wilson, both of the home; one grandchild, Sharnecee Wilson of Clinton, South Carolina; two sisters:  Lesteen Harris of Gray Court, SC and Dorothy (Henry) Moates of Woodruff, SC; one brother, James (Joyce) Wilson of Anderson, SC:; one niece; one nephew; a special cousin, Annie Ballenger; two aunts Willie Mae Wilson of Laurens, SC and Janie Harris of Gray Court, SC; two uncles: Harold Harris of Laurens, SC and Scand Walter Mack Browning of Cross Keys, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
