On Thursday, December 29, 2022, the precious spirit of Mrs. Hattie Lucille Vance passed from Earth to Eternity to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of Eighty-three.
Mrs. Hattie Lucille Vance was born on April 30, 1939, to the late Carrie Bell Hunts and Maxie Cunningham. She attended Bell Street of Laurens County. She worked at Whitten Center as a kitchen aide and retired after 29 1/2 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Willie James Hunt, her son, Timothy Cunningham, her husband, O'Daniel Vance, and a granddaughter, JaLisa Bolden.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her four daughters: Marietta (Wilson) Thompson, Virginia Vance (Bobby Burton), Sophie Vance (Leon Watts), and Cathy Vance; two sons: O'Daniel Vance Jr. (Lisa Priestly), Allen Vance (Melody McGowan); thirteen grandchildren, Lorenzo (Larisha) Thompson, Jabari (Michelle) Thompson, Dreicka (Rondall) Suber, Kerwin (April) Vance, Denzell (Tori) Vance, Sharod Vance, Derrick Vance, Lia'Tia' Vance, Desmond Carwise, Darious Vance, Quindarious Vance, Jarvis Bolden, Alexis Vance, one granddaughter reared in the home, Lalah G. Vance, twenty-five great grands, two great great grands, one niece, Varnessa (Issac) Kennedy, one sister-in-law, Mrs. Rosa Lee Vance, three special cousins, Mrs. Essie Conway, Mrs. Lillian Cain and the late Mrs. Lela M. Swindler.
