Jessie Lee Grant

Mrs. Jessie Lee Grant was born March 17, 1946 in Laurens County, South Carolina to the late Jessie Goggans and Annie Floyd Goggans.

She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Cross Hill, South Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Grant; her son, Jamie R. Grant.; and her grandson;  TyQuevius B. Parks, Sr.

On Thursday, December 11, 2025, Mrs. Grant entered into eternal rest at Self Regional Healthcare Hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina, surrounded by her  loving family at the age of seventy-nine.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her daughters, Wanda Grant, Shirlene (Calvin) Pulley, Gretta (Frank) Parks, Annie (Brian) Tribble; her sisters, Jessie Cook, Annie (Ernest) Fuller, Juliet Cook, Luella Goggans; one sister-in-law, Ola Lawton;  two brothers-in-law:  Cecile Grant and Randy Miller; sixteen grandchildren;  thirty-five great grandchildren;  three great-great grandchildren;  two special nephews:  Willie "Bird" Cook and Jessie Gerard Goggans;  two special cousins:  Bessie Workman and Eula Winphrie;  a special friend, Brenda Wilson,  a host of other relatives and friends.
