Mr. Jimmie Brown was born July 10, 1941, in Newberry County, South Carolina to the late Alex Brown Sr., and Hattie B. Watts Brown.
He was educated in the public schools of Laurens County, South Carolina, and was a proud graduate of Sanders High School Class.
Jimmie was a member of St. Vaughnville Baptist Church in Chappells, South Carolina.
He was formerly employed for many years at 3M and then at Teknor Apex in Fountain Inn, South Carolina.
Jimmie loved spending time with his family as well as cooking and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Helen Hankerson, Nellie Gladney, and Daisy B. Walker: and seven brothers: George Brown Sr., Alex Brown Jr., Leonard Brown, E.T. Brown, Rufus Brown, Johnny D. Brown, and J. B. Brown.
On November 29, 2025, Mr. Jimmie Brown departed this life at National Healthcare of Clinton in Clinton, South Carolina and entered into eternal rest at the age of eighty-four.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his brother, Vonnie (Shirley) Brown, his sister, Idalia Brown, a sister-in-law, Johnnie V. Brown; his caregivers: nephew-Albert Brown and niece-Linda Draughn; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
