Ms. Juanita Evans Young succumbed to a peaceful rest on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at her home in Laurens, South Carolina, surrounded by her loving family member. She was born on December 27, 1945, to the late Mr. Claude Evans, Jr. and Mrs. Pearl C. Evans.
She was educated in the public schools of Laurens County and was a 1964 graduate of Sanders High School. Juanita was a Christian lady, very knowledgeable, a great listener, and a hard worker. She retired from La-Forrest Community Care.
Ms. Young believed in God and loved her family dearly. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, neighbor, co-worker, and friend. Juanita was an impeccable dresser and loved having a good time.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Pastor Alberta Foggie and Mrs. Wilhelmina Pinson.
Juanita leaves to cherish her fond memories; one (1) son, Timothy (Tabitha) Young; two (2) grandchildren; Breyanna Young and Braylen Young; three :(3) sisters: Sylvia Calwile and Jacqueline Redd, both of Laurens, SC; and Charlotte (Edward) Coleman, Clinton, SC; two (2) brothers: Bishop Charlie D. Evans, Laurens, SC and James E. Evans, Miramar, FL; a godson, Markeviuz Evans of Laurens, SC. Devoted frienss: Charlie Mae Judon & Antoinette F. Calwile. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
