Ms. Judy Mae Pyles was born August 9, 1958, to Thelma Pyles in Laurens County, South Carolina. She was educated in the Laurens County school system and was a proud graduate of the Clinton High School class of 1977.
Judy was employed with the Whitten Center for over 18 years, then went on to Sara Lee were she was employed for 10 years. In 2022 she retired from CCL Industries.
Judy loved the Lord and was a faithful member of New Hope AME Church in Mountville, South Carolina where she served as a class leader, member of the Steward board and was also a member and treasurer of the Zena Wilson Missionary Society.
Judy entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at her home, at the age of sixty-five. She was preceded in death by her beloved nephew Brush Young and sister-in-law, Sylvia Pyles.
Judy leaves to cherish her fondest memories, her mother, Thelma P. Young; her childrren, Anzetta (Nikki) Pyles of Simpsonville, South Carolina; and Davante Robinson of Clinton, South Carolina; grandchildren Aubree Watts and Bethanee Smith; gradpup Nilo Pyles; her siblings, Ray Charles Pyles of Laurens, South Carolina, James Randy (Cathy) Young of Spartanburg, South Carolina; and sister, Lettenia (Ted) Taylor of Greenville, South Carolina; four nephews; two nieces; devoted friend, Courtney Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
