Leroy Campbell

Mr. Leroy Campbell, 62, of Millennium Healthcare in West Columbia, South Carolina passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Lexington Medical Center in Columbia, SC. He was born on June 11, 1955 to the late Rosa Bell Rainey Campbell and the late Leroy Bluford.

He grew up and attended public schools in Laurens County. He was formally employed at Joanna and Kaywood Mills.  He dedicated his life to Christ in the year 2015.

Leroy was also a formal member of the Untouchables Social Club.  He loved football and was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy Fan.  He was a family man who loved his family dearly, especially his three grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mattie L. Campbell, five brothers; and four sisters.

Mr. Leroy Campbell leaves to cherish fornd loving memories; one daughter, Anitra Abnathey; three grandchildren, Tamarquin, Tazarius, and Taheem Douglas; six brothers, Rufus Bluford, James (Rhonda) Campbell, David (Jackie) Campbell, Kenneth Campbell, Roddie King, and Steven (Angela) Campbell; eight sisters, Bessie Mims, Ruby (Stanley) Price, Katherine (T.C.), JoAnn (Tommy) Williams, Amanda Blakely, Geraldine(Michael) Briggs, Brenda, Sharon King; one mother-in-law, Mary Suber of Newberry, South Carolina; one father-in-law, Alfred A. Abnathey of Gastonia, South Carolina; and a host of relatives and friends.
