Mrs. Lillie Pearl Reid Williams was born in Laurens County, South Carolina on September 13, 1952 to the late Pleaz Reid and Eunice Davis Reid.
She attended the public schools of Laurens County, South Carolina and was a graduate of the Clinton High School Class of 1971 in Clinton, South Carolina
She was a member of Elzee Africian Methodist Episcopal Church in Clinton, South Carolina where she served on the steward Board, the Missionary Board, the Elzee Gospel Choir, and as the Sunday School Secretary.
Lillie Pearl was formerly employed with LaForrest Community Care Center in Laurens South Carolina until her health declined. She enjoyed her children, traveling, and family gatherings.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wavely Crawley Williams; two brothers, Willie Calvin Mims and John Henry Reeder; and her mother-in-law, Katherine Williams.
On Friday, December 13, 2019, Mrs. Lillie Pearl Williams departed this life at her home and transitioned into Eternal Rest at the age of sixty-seven.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories, three daughters, Sharon (Sterling) Fuller, Melissa (Leon) Davis, Ericka (Kedrian) Dendy all of Clinton, SC; one son, Tray (Nakia Wesley) Williams of Clinton, SC; five grandchildren, Sade', Angelica, Antwoin, and Ebonie Williams all reared in the home, and Kaleb Richardson of Clinton, SC; four great grandchildren, Kemontre, Ari, Kysen, and Karter Young; eleven sisters, Mary Ann Reid, Mattie Reid, Diane Simpson, Deborah Burns, Lisa Simpson, Leomia (James) Bulter, Lahomia (Frances) Ekeh, Regina (Robert Owens) Mims, Donna (Voyd) Fincher, Cheryl Simpson, and Andrea Simpson; seven brothers, Robert (Loretta) Reid, Raymond (Azalee) Reid, Aurthur (Lula Bell) Davis, Johnnie Davis, Stanley (Mary) Reeder, Charles Simpson, and Keith Mims; three sisters-in-law, Jeraldine (Willie) Gary, Joann McGee, and Denise Mims; two brothers-in-law, Curtis (Robin) Williams and Willie B. Kennedy; a special uncle Lewis Simpson; a special niece, Taunya Kennedy; a devoted friend, Gwen Moses, her caregiver, Cynthia Walls, and a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
