SUNRISE:
Mr. MacArthur Wilson was born January 20, 1943. A native of Laurens County, South Carolina, he was born the son of the late Edgar Wilson and Arzle Bell Wilson.
He was a member of the White Plains Baptist Church where he was a Trustee who was honored with Trustee Emeritus until his health began to decline.
MacArthur, who was affectionately called "Mac", was employed for many years with B.F. Shaw in Laurens, South Carolina. Upon his retirement, he worked with Goins Funeral Home formerly located in Laurens, South Carolina for several years alongside his son and nephew.
He was passionate, about gardening and spending time with his family and friends with whom he attended GWS Family Reunions for many years.
SUNSET:
In addition to his parents, MacArthur, being the last surviving sibling, was preceded in death by five sisters: Myrietta Wilson, Louise Wilson Simpson, Doris Wilson Williams, Dollie Bell Wilson Leamon, and Bernice Wilson Hunter; and two brothers: John Henry Wilson and Eddie Lee Wilson.
THOSE WHO REMAIN:
He leaves his to cherish his loving memories his wife of sixty years, Willie Mae Wilson of the home; three sons, Jerry Wilson of the home, Perry Wilson of Springfield, MO, and Gabriel (Crystal) Wilson of Mauldin, SC; seven grandchildren: LaPaige Wilson, Jerry Wilson II, Matthew Wilson, Andrew Wilson, TJ Wilson, Trent Wilson, and Trey Wilson: one great grandchild, Yannis Mills: two aunts; Clarice Simpson Coleman of Palm Coast, FL and Ruth C. (Evangelist Cedric) Simpson-Milton of Palatka, FL: one uncle, Willie James (Joann) Simpson of Hasting, FL; a special cousin, Willie Little of Charlotte, NC; one sister-in-law, Betty Ann Richardson of Laurens, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
