Mrs. Minnie Lee Adams was born on June 27, 1949, in Laurens County, South Carolina to the late Mr. Johnny Watson and Mrs. Gertrude Coleman Watson. She attended the public schools of Laurens County, South Carolina. Minnie Lee was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Clinton, South Carolina where she served as the President of the Gospel Mixed Choir. She was also a member of the Pastor’s Aide Ministry and the Ladies Auxiliary, the manager of W. E. Byrd Gospel 5 and also a retired nurse. On Thursday, September 22, 2021, Mrs. Minnie Lee Adams passed from Earth to Eternity to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Laurens County Healthcare in Laurens, South Carolina. She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her loving husband, John Larry Adams. She resided with her daughter, Minister Shehedda Thompson; her son, Bernard (Claudette) Thompson; four grandchildren reared in the home: Brandon Thompson, Brandkale Thompson, Montez Suber, and Bishop Jessie Thompson; nineteen other grandchildren: Princess, Jaraka, Janay, DJ, Lex, Isa, Jermaine, Shaquada, and Shundeshia thirty great grandchildren; three sisters: Wihelmena Watson, Sandra (Elder Solomon) Marshall, Pastor Gloria (Dr. William) Hobbs; four brothers: Bishop Peter (Corine) Adams, Bishop James (Victoria) Adams, Stephen Adams, and Judah Adams all of Baltimore, Maryland; a god sister, Myra Newkirk; two devoted caregivers: Vanessa Logan and Loreen Simpson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives
