Mr. Raymond Kenneth Bailey was born June 14, 1965 in Fountain Inn, South Carolina to Donna Bailey and the late Warren Walker.
He attended the public schools of Laurens County, South Carolina and was a graduate of the Clinton High School Class of 1983. He furthered his education at the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg South Carolina and received his Bachelor's Degree in 1989.
Raymond was a member of Friendship African Methodist Episcopal Church in Clinton, South Carolina. He was employed for several years at Whitten Center in Clinton, South Carolina as well as in Customer Service from home until his health declined.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Rodney Jacobs and Parish Walker; also a sister, Penny M. Jacobs.
On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, Mr. Raymond Kenneth Baily departed this life at AnMed Medical Center in Anderson County, South Carolina and entered into eternal rest at the age of fifty-nine.
In addition to his mother, his loving memories will be cherished by his stepfather, Larry T. Jacobs of the home; a devoted niece, Ashley (Arsi) Roberson of Clinton, SC; two nephews: Kyle Jacobs and Rodney D. Jacobs both of Clinton, SC; five uncles: Corey DeShields of Newberry, SC, Walter T. Bailey of Spokane, Washington, Anthony O. Bailey of Clinton, SC, Glenn T. Bailey of Laurens, SC and Willie "Fred" Walker of Clinton, SC; a special cousin, Ethel Calhoun of Clinton, SC; a special friend, Velma Austin of Clinton, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
