Mr. Robert Louis Rice was born on May 06, 1956, in Laurens County, South Carolina to Elizabeth Rice and the late Robert Rice.
He attended the public schools in Laurens County, South Carolina where he was a graduate of Laurens District 55 High School. He later joined the United States Army.
Robert was the oldest of five children. He carried the role of big brother with strength, love, and guidance throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Rice.
On Wednesday, October 01, 2025, Mr. Robert Louis Rice, beloved son, brother, and father, was received into eternity at his home in Clinton, South Carolina at the age of sixty-nine.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Elizabeth Rice, his four children: Robert (Tokeshia) Rice, Rockeem Herbert, Cera Rice, and Maurice Booker; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; hisfour sisters: Brenda Davis, Ella Tucker, Judy Carter (Elroy Carter), and Linda Tucker: a special uncle; Robert Lee; and a host of nieces and nephews whom he adored and who were the pride and joy of his life.
Robert will be remembered for his generous spirit and unwavering devotion to his family. His legacy lives on in the lives of his children and in the countless memories shared with those who knew and loved him.
Through our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that Robert has been reunited with his father, and that his love will continue to guide us always.
Mr. Rice served in the United States Army and previously worked in Manufacturing.
On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, he entered into eternal rest at his home, at the age of 69.
In addition to his mother, he leaves to cherish his memories to his sons, Robert (Tokeshia) Rice, Rockeem Herbert, Maurice Booker; his daughter, Cera Rice; his sisters, Brenda Davis, Ella Tucker, Judy (Elroy) Carter, Linda Tucker; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
