Mr. Ruford Arthur ‘Rufus’ Mims was born on August 07, 1958, in Laurens County, South Carolina to the late Arthur Mims and Juanita Martin Mims.
He attended the public schools in Laurens County, South Carolina and was a graduate of Clinton High School in Clinton, South Carolina.
At an early age, "Rufus," as he was lovingly called, attended Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church in Joanna, South Carolina.
In addition to his love for his family, he was also a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan.
On Tuesday, March 01, 2025, Mr. Ruford Arthur Mims departed his earthly life and entered Eternal Rest at the age of sixty-six.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his daughter, Marquita Pressley; his three brothers: Lewis Mims, Harold Mims, Reverend Melvin (Ernestine) Young; two sister: Lana Martin and Phyllis (James) Crawford; three grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
