Stanley L James

Mr. Stanley L. James was born October 26, 1954, in Laurens County, South Carolina to the late Ms. Louise James.

He attended the public schools of Laurens County, South Carolina.

Stanley was employed with Dispoz-O-Plastics in Fountain Inn, South Carolina.

On Saturday, July 31, 2021, Mr. Stanley L. James departed this life at Prisma Health of Greenville, South Carolina at the age of sixty-six.

Stanley loved to have a good time and enjoyed his life and his family.  He was a family man, a nurturer, and a mentor to many.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories his godchildren whom he reared in the home and mentored:  Sedrick (Tawanna) Griffin of Covington, Ga. Gerard McCanty of Laurens, SC, Veronica (Terry) Hunter of Simpsonville, SC, and Terrance McCanty of Columbia, SC; his god grandchildren:  Vonterious Q. Craig of Columbia, SC and Logan Griffin of Covington, GA; special family:  Mr. James Earl (Elizabeth) Evans, Robert (Brenda) Evans, Curtis Evans, Sherry Wilder, and Brenda (David) Bennett all of Laurens, SC; a host of other relatives including two special friends; Casper Brewster of Laurens, SC and Penny Brewster of Fountain Inn, SC.
