Mr. Terence Lynn Watson was born September 27, 1959, in Laurens County, South Carolina to the late Arthur Duckett and the late Beatrice Higgins. On May 1, 2026, Terence entered into eternal rest at his home in Clinton, South Carolina, at the age of 66, surrounded by his family.
Terence graduated Clinton High School Class of 1977 and attended Atlanta School of Arts. He was a member of New Bethel AME Church in Clinton, South Carolina. Terence was a self-employed mechanic, and he also worked for Laurens Glass and Anderson Hardwood. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking for his family, carving wood, painting and drawing, writing poems, musician, and playing guitar. Terence was truly a jack of all trades.
Terence was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale Watson.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Annette Watson, his daughters, Takena Hallinquest, Quntresha Booker, and Honesty Godfrey; his step-sons, Mecoss Madden and Ontario Godfrey; his brother, Robert Higgins; his sister, Mary Mason; his grandchildren: Kemya Booker, Shamyah Booker, Prince Madden, Eboni Madden, Jada Madden, Terence Booker, Khalil Hallinquest, Tony Jones, Peyton Hallinquest and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
