Mr. Theodore Bowers of Chapin, South Carolina was born on January 29, 1932 to the late Mr. Johnny Bowers and Mrs. Martha Ramey Bowers.
He attended the public schools of Lexington County, South Carolina. As an adult, he moved to New Jersey where he was employed for over forty years at the Interbake Foods Company (Burry's) until he retired as a manager.
Theodore was previously married to Dorothy Bowers and the late Helen Johnson-Berwick.. He spent his latter years with his beloved Myrtle Wilson who we lost in 2018. The two of them enjoyed traveling and took every opportunity they could to spend time with family. He loved football and basketball. He was a long time Boston Celtics fan.
Mr. Bowers was a very intelligent man. He enjoyed keeping up with news and current events.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved Myrtle Wilson; and a granddaughter, Latasha Johnson.
On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, Mr. Theodore Bowers entered into Eternal Rest at Langston Place in Clinton, South Carolina at the age of eighty-seven.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, one son, Robert Bowers; three daughters, Beverly Bowers, Valarie Delapara, and Linda (Darren Burton) Johnson; six grandchildren, Vanesha Davis, Allen Patterson, Tyrinah Sutton, Trevor Delapara, and Demetrius Bowers, Paris Nicole Bowers; seven great-grandchildren, Dejah Johnson, Mia Delapara, Bryttani Johnson, Trevor Delapara III, Angela Delapara Carter Sutton, and Londyn Bowers; one brother, Robert (Bertha) Bowers; a host of relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
