Mr. Tony Pernell Alexander was born on November 20, 1962, in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Delois Alexander.
He was a member of New China Baptist Church in Clinton, South Carolina. He attended the public schools of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina where he also graduated.
Tony, lovingly called "Big T" by his family and friends, served in the United States Army and he was a Mason. Since he had a love for washing cars, he became the owner of an Automotive Detail Shop.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother.
On Friday, August 16, 2024, Mr. Tony Pernell Alexander departed this life at National Healthcare of Laurens in Laurens, South Carolina at the age of sixty-one.
Cherishing his precious and fond loving memories are his loving wife, Dorothy Johnson-Alexander, two sons, Lavadrick Glenn and De'Andre M. Geter; two grandchildren, Daxton Glenn and Jakboi Moore; one goddaughter, Nevaeh Hill; his mother-in-law, Ethel (Sheppard) Scott; father-in-law, Bobby Johnson; one brother-in-law; Derrick (Rasheeda) Hunter of Ware Shoals, SC; two sisters-in-law: Lat'ash (Shawn) Sanders Virginia and Sonovia (Antwoin) Williams of Laurens, SC; seven uncles; six aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
