Ms. Virginia Mae Edwards was born in Spartanburg County, South Carolina on January 6, 1943, to Channie Jones and the late Virnell Stroble.
She attended the public schools of Spartanburg County, South Carolina where she was a graduate of the Carver High School.
Virginia was a dedicated member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness at the South Congregation in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
She was the Privileged Owner of Edwards Beauty Shop as well as the Regional Vice President of Primerica Financial Service. She enjoyed gardening, thrifting, and traveling.
She was preceded in death, in additional to her father, by two brothers: James Jones and Joseph Collins; and three sisters: Mary McCravy, Dororthy Ann Stroble, and Nora Elizabeth Martin.
On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, Ms. Virginia Mae Edwards departed this earthly life at the Physical Wellness Rehab Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina at the age of seventy-eight.
In addition to her mother, she leaves to cherish her beautiful memories one daughter, Angelia Edwards of Spartanburg, SC; three sons: Stanley Williams of Spartanburg, SC, Lee (Margo) Williams of Columbia, SC, and Darron (Laron) Williams of Raleigh, NC; eight grandchildren: Porsche Davis, Cheresa Edwards, Anthony Edwards, Denesha Edwards, Mattison Williams and Morgan Williams all of Spartanburg, SC, Ashlee (Tay) Canty and Daniele Vest both of Raleigh, NC; seven great grandchildren; two sisters: Elnora Stroble (James) Willliams and Almetia Stroble of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
