Ms. Wanda Faye Walker was born May 5, 1959 to the late Roy Lee Walker, Sr. and Annie Laura Byrd Walker.
She attended the public school of Laurens County, South Carolina where she was a 1978 graduate of Clinton High School.
Wanda was a member of Bethlehem Grove Baptist Church in Clinton, South Carolina where she was a member of the choir.
She was employed for thirty years as a loyal employee of the Whitten Center in Clinton, South Carolina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son Calvin Damel Walker; paternal grandparents: Wade Walker, Sr. and Annie Mae Rice; maternal grandparents: Elbert Perry Byrd and Annie Louise Dillard; her sister, Vernell Walker Smith.
On Monday, January, January 13, 2025, Ms. Wanda Faye Walker entered eternal rest at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital at the age of sixty-five.
She leaves her cherished memories to her sister, Shirley Walker Butler of Clinton, SC and one brother, Roy Lee Walker Jr. of Charlotte, NC. Wanda also leaves behind her cherished grandson, Malikih Ja'Vohn Walker: four aunts; Maggie Foster, Jeannette Jones, Rosa Peake, and Lillian Byrd; four nieces, three nephews and a host of great nieces, great nephews, and other family and friends.
Wanda most enjoyed spending time with her family and was loved by all.
