Mr. William Ross Adams Booker was born March 19, 1946, in Laurens County, South Carolina to the late William Adams and Elizabeth Booker.
He attended the public schools of Laurens County, South Carolina and was a graduate of the Bell Street High School Class of 1964 in Clinton, South Carolina. At an early age, he joined Hebron Baptist Church in Clinton, South Carolina and later attended Little River Zion Baptist Church in Kinards, South Carolina.
For many years, "Book", as he was known by many, was employed as a supervisor at Whitten Center in Clinton, South Carolina.
"Book" was a man that enjoyed spending time with his family as a loving husband, a father, and a papa.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons and three sisters.
On Sunday, January 16, 2022, Mr. William Ross Adams Booker entered Eternal Rest at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina at the age of seventy-five.
He leaves to cherish his fond loving memories his wife, Frances F. Booker of the home; two daughters: Briana Booker of the home and Shanese Cunniongham of Fountain Inn, SC; three sons: Jeff Booker of Clinton SC, Chris Fair of the home, and Darius King of Greenville, SC; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; four sisters: Lois Booker and Jeraldine Suber both of Clinton, SC, Jackie (Billy) Wade and Trenice Norman both of Charlotte, NC; three brothers: John Booker of Clinton, SC, Jefferey (Nina) Adams and Michael Grier both of Charlotte, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
