Mr. William R. Foster was born February 12, 1941, in Union County, South Carolina, to the late Leonard and Hettie Davis Foster.
Mr. Foster served in the United States Army and previously worked as a Machine Operator at Torrington Company in Clinton, South Carolina.
William entered into eternal rest at Richard Campbell Veterans Hospital in Anderson, South Carolina, at the age of eighty-three.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife of over 60 years, Maggie Foster; his daughter, Loretta (Earl) Richey; his sons, William R. (Ruby) Foster, Jr., Leonard (Tami) Foster; his sisters; Linda Jefferies, Andrea (Michael) Smith, Joyce (Earl) Brewton; his aunt, Carrie Richardson; his sisters-in-law, Jeannette Jones, Rosa Peake, Lillian Byrd; nine loving grandchildren, a host of great grand-children, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving visitors from 2:00pm - 6:00pm at 209 Horne St., Clinton, SC
