Mr. Willie Clarence Pitts, 81, of Clinton, South Carolina, departed this life on Friday, February 1, 2019 at his home in Clinton, South Carolina.
He was born on January 1, 1938 to the late Tommy Miller and the late Lillie B. Jones.
At an early age, Willie attended Antioch AME Church in Clinton, South Carolina. He attended Bell Street High School in Clinton, South Carolina. He loved fishing and gardening and was employed at Clinton Mills in Clinton, South Carolina for over twenty-five years.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Penelope Pitts Turner and Marie Wilson; and a brother, David Jones.
Mr. Pitts leaves to cherish fond memories his wife, TeCora Pitts of the home; two daughters, Angela Suber of Clinton, SC., and Minister Sonja (Stanley) Smith of Laurens, SC; five sons, James (Dorothy) Williams, Willie Pitts, Jr., Terry Smith, Kenneth Smith, Robert Smith all of Clinton SC; one brother, Jerry Pitts; twenty-one grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
